Tucson Soaring Club Open House
Take a silent flight over the Ironwood Forest National Monument; watch aerobatic glider demos; win an aerobatic ride; and get to know the club, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15. Free; half-price glider rides at $50. Take Interstate 10 to exit 242, W. Avra Valley Road, 11 miles to right on Trico Road, 2.5 miles to left on El Tiro Road, 4.5 miles to open gate.
