Tucson Culinary Festival

The Tucson Originals kick off this annual event with a margarita competition from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at Maynards Market, 400 N. Toole Ave.; $45. Tucson Originals restaurants feature dishes created for the festival on Friday, Oct. 28; $10 to $65. Reserve and Grand Tastings, including dozens of wine, cocktail and food samples, take place at three locations from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29; $65 to $100. The Copper Chef challenge takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, at Loews Ventana Canyon, 7000 N. Resort Drive; $45, $35 advance, $10 child younger than 16.
