Tour of Ancient Community, Ball Court, Petroglyphs
Old Pueblo Archaeology Center staff lead a tour of Los Morteros and Picture Rocks from 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday, March 20. Free. Los Morteros is a Hohokam village site with a ball court and ruins of a very large community. Picture Rocks features petroglyphs, including a solstice and equinox marker, made by Hohokam between 650 and 1450 A.D. Reservations are required.
