Tombstone Rose Festival and Parade 

When: Sat., April 2, 10:15 a.m.-5 p.m. 2011
A festival celebrating the 126th blooming of a landmark rose tree includes a parade; the Rose Queen coronation; a Vigilette Fashion Show; the Cochise Folklorico dancers from Douglas; the Nogales, Arizona, Mariachi Apache Band; and a lunchbox auction. The festival takes place from 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 2. At 4:30 p.m., members of Tombstone's oldest families lead a forum, "Tombstone Memories: Too Tough to Die," at Tombstone Community Church, 116 E. Allen Street.
