Dive into ancient Indian texts as a part of the Cultivating Peace Within Retreat beginning Saturday, March 18, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Redemptorist Renewal Center (7101 W. Picture Rocks Road). Lecturer Rama Vernon will discuss the Bhagavad Gita in addition to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The lecture will cover the historical and spiritual context of the Bhagavad Gita for the practice of yoga. Tickets are $45 for all three nights and $20 for one night.
