From the mind of non-visionary director DJ Pooh comes a "movie" that compellingly explains why film editors shouldn't get high. Nominally inspired by 1976's frolicsome Car Wash, The Wash stars Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as two weed-smoking pussy hounds working at a car wash who become embroiled in at least four movies' worth of subplots. Combining elements of sketch comedy, urban linguistics studies and surrealist filmmaking, the film delivers all the fun, wit and coherence found in any random half-hours of BET, squeezed into 94 minutes. It's hard to recommend any film that's not as good as its soundtrack; however, those wishing to be instructed in the proper uses of the word "bizzle" will find sweet satisfaction in The Wash.
Director: DJ Pooh
