The Other Atticus

cityweek3.jpg

Want to go back to a time when we fell in love with Atticus Finch? Then get to The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd., on Saturday, July 25, 7 p.m. for a sceening of "To Kill a Mockingbird." The Loft is celebrating the release of Harper Lee's second novel, Go Set a Watchman. The new novel features Atticus, but a bit different than the one we fell in love with in the book and the movie portrayal from Gregory Peck. Finch is a deep South lawyer defending a falsely accused African-American man in a racist town. And there's his home life with Jem, Scott and their neighbor Boo Bradley.
