The Launch! The Launch!

At long last: The all-new tucsonweekly.com is here.

Please, go and check it out for yourself. (If you're reading this on the new Web site ... good for you!) We're still working out some kinks, of course—please drop me a line should you find any glitches—but we're elated with how it turned out.

Some things worth noting:

• You can finally comment on all of our stories. Actually, you can comment on pretty much everything on the new Web site, including restaurants, locations and events—even events that have already happened. Readers can also rate venues, restaurants and the like.

• Our blog—now named The Range: The Tucson Weekly's Old Pueblog—is now more fully integrated into the site.

• You can set up your own tucsonweekly.com profile, through which you can set up text-message or e-mail reminders about upcoming events; you can bookmark favorite stories; and do all sorts of other great things. However, all of this is completely optional; there are no registration requirements to read any of our content. Period.

• The whole site is easier to navigate, with drop-down menus, a searchable calendar/events module and all sorts of other nifty stuff.

I could go on and on, but I am not doing it justice: Check out the new tucsonweekly.com, and, as always, let me know your thoughts.

Happy reading!
