The Great Tucson Iditarod Race and Bufoonata Food-Truck Rally
Costumed teams race with shopping carts from the West University neighborhood through downtown from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 1; $30 requested donation payable in advance to dinnerwareartspace@gmail.com via PayPal. Registration also takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at Bentley's. Shopping carts may be altered to a team's requirements, but the wheels must stay on. A "musher" must be in the cart at all times. The race terminates at the Buffoonata Tood Truck Roundup at 76 E. Sixth Street. Five $100 cash prizes are awarded for theme selection, costuming, animal decoration, artistic and crazy, and judges' favorite. Visit tucsonfoodtruckroundup.com for more information and updates.
