The Dragon Salutes Juneteenth

A Rolling History Party celebrates the historic relationship between Tucson's black community and its family-owned Chinese grocery stores, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, June 15. A display of photographs and memorabilia travel in a van that stops at 4:50 p.m. at the Juneteenth celebration in Donna Liggins Neighborhood Center, 2160 N. Sixth Ave.; at 6 p.m. at Dunbar Spring Neighborhood, 325 W. Second Street; at 6:45 p.m. at the Mission Gardens at the foot of the east face of "A" Mountain; and at 7:40 p.m. at Vista del Pueblo Park, 1801 W. San Marcos Blvd.; free admission. Limited seating in the van is available; $15. Call 292-6900 for reservations.
