The Color Dash
The "world's brightest 5K" takes place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, to benefit Ben's Bells program to promote kindness in schools; $45; $35 for team members. As participants run level trails through the park, they go through non-toxic, non-irritating, food-grade colored corn-starch sprays at each kilometer, and a rainbow of color at the end.
