The Brothers Solomon
I don’t know what the worst film of 2007 is going to be, but I’ve already got The Brothers Solomon firmly inked into my Bottom 10 list, and it won’t be any number between 3 and 10. Solomon is an unbearable “buddy” comedy about two socially incompetent brothers (Will Arnett and Will Forte) who decide that they must have a baby before their father dies. After a series of embarrassingly awful dates, they hire a surrogate (Kristen Wiig) who eventually decides that they’re OK chaps, and then everyone is happy, except for those who paid money to see this, or got to see it for free, or were paid less than 25 percent of their annual salary to see it.
