Take the chance to open your eyes and gain a new perspective. Mapping Q, an award-winning community arts education program invites LGTBQ youth to explore local museums. It is a collaboration between the UA School of Art, Tucson Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation. On Saturday, June 25, they are inviting youth ages 13-23 to Queer Detour from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., to enjoy a discussion and activities. Located at the Tucson Museum of Art, 140 N. Main Ave., participants will be invited along a special tour of the TMA collection and temporary exhibitions through an LGTBQ perspective.
