First, Street Fighter was a video game; then it was a movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme in 1994; now its a superfluous sequel (without the Muscles From Brussels) that seems to have been released as a 97-minute commercial for the latest Street Fighter video game. With glowing purple balls of mystical powers, Chun-Li (Kristin Kreuk) goes after Bison (Neal McDonough), a crime boss who has imprisoned her father. Director Andrzej Bartkowiak and writer Justin Marks waste viewers time with laughable special effects and lame one-liners.
