The art of burlesque has long been a celebration—a reverence, even—of the female body in all her many forms. Yes, the occasional man would jump on the stage, an outlier and therefore provocative in his very daring to share the stage with the bold, rabble-rousing women of burlesque. And what's more, after women have been the ones to entertain the masses with their birth-given splendor generation after generation, it's nice to see a man—or as is the case with the Surley Wench's Manly Manlesque Show—a dozen men get on the stage, slowly unzip, hump their hats and rock a g-string like it's 1999.
