Speak your mind with other poets, authors and writers this Sunday, Oct. 25 with Words on the Avenue at Cafe Passe (415 N. Fourth Ave.) where local word artists share their poetry and prose with some science fiction, diary entries on love or whatever floats your boat in the open mic. This edition of Words on the Avenue also includes a special treat all the way from the city of Mobile, Alabama: Alex "Huggy Bear da Poet" Lofton. Literature geeks should be sure to not miss this one. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a suggested donation of $5 to attend.
