Slamming Emily Workshops
Logan Phillips of the Tucson Youth Poetry Slam conducts free workshops from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Sam Lena South Tucson Branch Library, 1607 S. Sixth Ave.; from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at Himmel Park Branch Library, 1035 N. Treat Ave.; and from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at Woods Memorial Branch Library, 3455 N. First Ave. The workshops are among several Emily Dickinson-related events organized by Kore Press with the support of the National Education Association program "The Big Read."
