Sierra Vista and Bisbee Community Mesquite Milling 

When: Thu., Oct. 24 and Sat., Oct. 26 2013
Mesquite pods are milled into nutritious flour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at Veterans Memorial Park, 3105 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at Bisbee Farmers' Market, Warren Ballpark, corner of Arizona Street and Ruppe Road; $1.50 per gallon of whole pods, $5 minimum. Milled mesquite flour and other native desert foods are also available for purchase. Call 331-9821, or visit bajaaz.org/calendar for more information.
