Shamisen Concert

Aki Takahashi, associate artistic director of the respected Canadian taiko drum group Nagata Shachu, and teacher of taiko drumming, shamisen and voice, performs a half-hour concert on the banjo-like Japanese traditional instrument, the shamisen, at 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15; $20 at the door, $17 and $15 in advance.
