Re: “Your Indispensable Back-To-College Guide

... and when you do end up in the hospital after your best friends poured your besotted butt from their car and dumped you on the curb next to the emergency room entrance, devoid of your identification, wallet, underwear and dignity, please be kind to the healthcare workers who had nothing to do with your current situation and may have to care for someone who was shot, stabbed or has a more serious medical emergency, even though all your other best friends who enabled your alcohol or drug abuse are taking up all the seating in the emergency room waiting room texting and calling all your other, other best friends "OMG my BFF is in the hospital and they won't let me go back, and BTW bring me a large Starbucks because the vending machines in this place are SO lame."

Re: “In the Flesh: Tucson's March Against White Supremacy

The city basically got it for free. Perhaps they could donate it -- for free -- to the history museum in Columbus, New Mexico, where it could be displayed in a historical context, and replace it with a full-scale statue of Ofelia Zepeda sitting on a pedestal reading her poems to children.

Re: “Arizona's Un-Credential. Is It the Beginning Of the End Of Teaching As a Profession?

If this catches on you can forget trying to get companies to relocate to Arizona, no matter what incentives you give them, and you might be encouraging companies that are already here to think about moving to a state that values education for their employees' children and for future employees.

Of course, it will sure make it easier to cut all kinds of programs when the only remaining businesses in Arizona are private prisons, Border Patrol operations and construction of the Trump Wall.

You do realize that the Constitution is a living document and can be changed, and by the way, I'll just assume you forgot the "s" on thanks and you do not suck at Writing and English.

Grandma Suzy,

Four years -- no more, no less.

If you cannot get it done in four years, you probably cannot get it done.

In addition, no "entitlements" after service. I had to put more than 20 years in the Army to retire with benefits that are far less than these people get for one term now.

Re: “McCain Returns to Senate To Push Mystery GOP Healthcare Bill Forward

I think I have solved the cause of the large ice break off in Antarctica -- the GOP is preparing for its next healthcare plan transmogrification to take care of all those that become uninsured by placing them on the large ice flow where they can sail off into oblivion using a "natural" and cost effective method.

Re: “Trumpcare Is Dead

With everything that is going on inside and outside the Beltway with this administration, anyone that imagines they will play by any rules -- other than "those that rule make the rules" -- is living in a fool's paradise.

As for so-called Trumpcare, the photo-illustration used with this story is more indicative of what we can expect from those in power right now -- a lot of people dying.

Considering what they are trying to do overall with healthcare, Trumpcare's signature slogan could be "take two bullets to the head and call me in the morning."
