Scouts Alternative Honor

Adults and children alike rejoice on National Girl Scout Cookie Day and its message that cookie season is upon us once again. The genius new grown-up way to celebrate this day and get your fix of cookies is to head over to Tap & Bottle, 403 N. 6th Ave., on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 3 to 5 p.m., where they will be pairing four cookie flavors with their handpicked beer selections. A girl scout will be nearby selling boxes of the treats if the tasting isn't enough to get your cookie fill (it won't be). More information can be found on the event's Facebook page.
