Rocking Down the Street

Still contemplating if the streetcar is the right mode of transportation for you? Let's go down the check list: cool AC, a relatively good availability of comfortable seats, music. Check. Live music? Sun Link has got that, too. From July 18 to Aug. 22, KXCI will present their Sun Link Summer in the City Concert Series. Four concerts will be held on Saturdays all within the confines of the street car. The series continues with a performance by Roman Barten-Sherman followed by Crystal Stark on July 25, Laura and the Killed Men on Aug. 8 and Hank Topless on Aug. 22. Passengers can attend by boarding the specially marked Sun Link on Avenida del Convento and Congress at 7 p.m. All passengers will need a SunGo card or ticket to ride. Day passes are available for $4 at Sun Link boarding stations. For more information visit kxci.org.
