Rock Art and Archaeology of Ventana Cave
Archaeologist Allen Dart leads a carpool tour of a cave on the Tohono O'odham nation, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1; $35, $28 member of Old Pueblo Archaeology, Pueblo or Grande Museum Auxiliary, free for members or employees of the Tohono O'odham Nation. The cave has petroglyphs, pictographs and other features of habitation from as long as 10,000 years ago. Reservations are required by Wednesday, Jan. 29.
