Re: “The Beautiful People

Wow..what a mess of review, "some patrons growing impatient waiting for their table grumble because their car is in the hands of some kid expecting a tip." Really? When I wait a long time for a table that's what I wonder about??? Hardly. You then write about the Coop and "It is here that you find out that Culinary Dropout likens itself to a 'British gastropub' " with no further explanation? What do you think that means to the reader? Anything? Then only half a paragraph about the food. I really look forward to the food reviews each week, but this one left me "a bit dizzy, as if my head was stuck in a pinball machine".

Re: “Inca Inspiration

We went Friday night with another couple and despite some issues with the kitchen getting slammed, the food was well seasoned, well prepared and the staff was on top of any issues.

Re: “The Skinny

Hey McSally...just cause you have a (R) next to your name doesn't mean you have to vote in lockstep with the Republican agenda. The "heathcare bill" (actually it's just a huge tax cut for the very wealthy) will take away 28 million people's access to healthcare. Don't blame Trump for taking you down.... those low ratings are because people don't like your voting record.

Re: “Nearly Mythical

While I will agree that the story last week about Old Chicago pizza was putting lipstick on a pig, I felt this was a solid review. For those people who cannot figure out how to google the restaurant to see the menu, here you go Human Bean....https://www.facebook.com/SkyDragonChinese/…. Seriously, HB, why don't you try your hand at writing a restaurant review and let everyone else pick it apart.

Re: “The Skinny

What a bunch of clowns. Mariano Rodriguez is too busy to talk to the Tucson Weekly and doesn't call them back. Republican Party chairman David Eppihimer says Watson isn't a true "Republican" because he supported a sales tax hike to pay for cops, fire and road repair. So much for the large tent the republicans keep saying they have. I guess keeping Tucson shitty and cheap is more important than protecting its citizens. For some people I guess $3/month per person is too much for proper police and fire protection. But hey, if the bonds had passed last year all this would be moot.

Re: “Small Town Big Business

Funny that they are owned by Rock Bottom Restaurants. It seems they take that name to heart each and every day. There are plenty of great craft brews elsewhere, and I cannot think of any pizza joint in Tucson with worse tasting pizza (and there is a lot of BAD pizza in Tucson). And for goodness sakes... clean the carpets, fix the tears in the booth and seat fabrics, and have the staff at least pretend that they care about what they are doing.
