Third Anniversary Party at Public Brewhouse. I just found out Public Brewhouse's birthday happens to be on the same day it was founded, life is crazy! For this special day, they are offering beer-infused cupcakes, micheladas, live music, special beer releases and food by Blacktop Grill. Groovy '70s attire is highly recommended. Prickly Pears at Tanque Verde. Get your southwestern summer on at Tanque Verde Ranch over the course of a few days when you get down and dirty with every process of the prickly pear. First, head out into the desert to harvest prickly pears with the Tanque Verde team (and receive a free shirt!) Second, join a chef and his team to learn the ideal ways to prepare prickly pears for cooking. (and get a free lunch!) Bar Lab 101. Become the next conqueror of the cocktail at Series19's latest drink class. Their bartender will teach you how to make two cocktails that will slay at any party. This includes learning about the look, the flavor and the aroma of the drinks. Plus, you get a hands-on experience with the two cocktails, learn the history of each drink and receive a complementary Three Wells Rocks Glass. Along with the lesson, you will also receive 10 percent off bottles of the featured drinks. Tucson's Official Birthday Celebration. La Cocina Restaurant is going all out for The Old Pueblo getting just a little older.
