Query Corner

You have questions? We have answers, or something resembling them.

• It says "Vol. 25, No. 52" up there. What the heck does that mean?

It means you're reading the last issue of the Tucson Weekly's first quarter-century. The Weekly was born on Feb. 22, 1984--feel free to toast our official birthday on Sunday should you think of it. We'll be celebrating the birthday in style next week, with our 25th Anniversary Issue.

I won't say much about the issue for now--after all, it's a mere week away--except to say that we have been hard at work on the issue for almost a year, and I can promise you that you won't want to miss it.

Be sure to pick it up!

• What's the deal with Club Crawl™?

The spring version of our twice-a-year music festival will be happening on Saturday, April 18. Further details will come soon to these very pages. If you're a band interested in playing the Crawl, send a note to clubcrawl@yahoo.com. If you have other questions, feel free to e-mail me.

• What's the deal with Best of Tucson™?

Per usual, we'll be running the Readers' Choice ballots starting in April. We're starting work on the BOT ballot, so if you have any questions about the ballot or suggestions for new categories, let me know ASAP.

• What's the deal with that fancy new Web site you've been promising?

Those of us at Weekly World Central should be getting a first look at the real thing this week, and it should be ready for public consumption in March. Can you feel the excitement?
