POP! (Purses On Purpose) at the YWCA and More

As part if its YW Speaks series, the organization continues its women and money series on Monday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. at 525 N. Bonita Ave. To help pay for all the good things the organization is doing for women and children, it has to raise money. POP! (Purses on Purpose) is a creative way to do just that—on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the YWCA—with hors d'oeuvres, haute couture and handbags. Women-owned local restaurants will serve up the treats to inspire your bidding for the silent auction of designer handbags filled with goodies from local spas, artists, boutiques and cafés. Tickets are $65 advance or $80 at door, and can be purchased at www.kintera.org. To RSVP for the budget workshop, email lhernandez@ywcatucson.org. For additional info, visit ywcatucson.org.
