Well, That Sucked

Foothills Area

March 12, 11 a.m.

Two former housemates' conflict over tidiness was followed by a custody battle over a vacuum cleaner, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report said.

A woman told a sheriff's deputy she'd recently moved in with a female friend who seemed like a clean person, considering she'd agreed to help buy an (extremely) expensive Kirby-brand vacuum for their new apartment.

Unfortunately the situation swiftly soured due to the other woman's tendency to leave a mess, including when her dog "trashed the apartment."

Finally her former friend agreed to move out, but she took the vacuum cleaner, for which the reportee said she'd used her credit card to pay (although both women "signed for it").

The other woman admitted to the deputy she'd taken the vacuum cleaner and eventually agreed to give it back so that "both parties ... would no longer have to deal with one another."
