Smear Tactics

West Valencia and South Mission Roads, June 20, 1:02 a.m.

A man found what he believed was human feces dabbed on various locations around the outside of his home, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report said.

The man said he first discovered the feces after he had gotten into an argument with his wife and decided to sleep outside on a hammock. He said he placed his hand on a gate latch leading to his backyard and felt something smeared on it.

A deputy noted "the stench of feces" and excrement mixed with pine needles or other plant parts on the gate latch.

According to the report, feces were also smeared "underneath the ladder area" on an above-ground pool and on the underside of several doorknobs. The deputy noted that anyone using one of the doorknobs probably wouldn't have seen the feces.

The report said there was also a mirror outside the residence with the words "I know" written on it, possibly using excrement.

The man and his family were "extremely distraught" about the incident, the report said.

Deputies photographed the area. There was no further information at the time of the report.

Piss Off

West Orange Grove Road and North La Cholla Boulevard, June 26, 9:48 a.m.

A woman said she was awakened in the early hours of the morning by three teenage boys urinating on her bedroom window, a PCSD report stated.

The woman said she heard water hitting her window around 2:30 a.m. and then heard male voices.

She told a PCSD telephone operator that the doorbell rang as she got up to look out her window. The woman said she saw three boys running away from her home, laughing.

The report said that the next morning, the woman could smell urine around her front door and her bedroom window, so she figured the water sound had been the boys relieving themselves.

She said she believes the boys probably attend the same school as her 13-year-old child, but couldn't provide any more details.

Broken Record

West Ina Road and North La Cholla Boulevard, June 20, 4:40 p.m.

An 81-year-old woman said she had been receiving obscene phone calls that appeared to be recordings, a PCSD report said.

According to the woman, the person on the other end of the phone was not a live person in any of the calls. She said she had received at least four calls in the past two months.

The recordings asked the woman various questions about her sexual habits, the report said, including whether or not she had ever had anal sex.

A PCSD telephone operator gave the woman several options to halt the calls, including changing her phone number or tracing them.
