Police Dispatch

Pissed On The Pot

West Cortaro Farms Road and North La Cholla Boulevard, Nov. 12, 3:54 p.m.

Wal-Mart employees phoned authorities when an intoxicated woman locked herself in a bathroom stall and refused to come out, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report said.

Lisa Marie Brown, 38, reportedly screamed profanity at anyone who entered the bathroom, prompting management at the Wal-Mart Superstore, 7635 N. La Cholla Blvd., to station employees at its entryway to turn customers away.

A deputy allegedly found a nearly unconscious Brown propping her head up on a toilet tank in one of the stalls. Next to her was a half-empty bottle of vodka and a Styrofoam cup.

Brown resisted by holding on to the stall door when the deputy tried to move her, the report said. She was allegedly so drunk that she was unable to stand, and her mood fluctuated wildly between bouts of extreme sadness and anger.

Brown was arrested on charges of consuming spirituous liquor in public and disorderly conduct. She was transported to Pima County Adult Detention Center.

Why Me?

East Ina Road and North First Avenue, Nov. 10, 5:46 p.m.

A female employee who was upset that she was only worker forced to submit to a drug test caused a scene at a retirement community restaurant, a PCSD report said.

The hysterical woman yelled and used profanity in the restaurant kitchen as soon as she returned to work after taking the test, according to witnesses. She then went screaming into the dining area and nearly walked into one of the restaurant's patrons, the restaurant manager said.

Fellow employees said the woman was affiliated with "some type of gang operating out of the Oracle area," the report stated. Witnesses also said she threatened to have her "homeboys" and "homesisters" come out to the restaurant to "take care of the problem."

Authorities believed there was probable cause to arrest the woman on a charge of disorderly conduct. A deputy searched the area, but was unable to locate her.

Sidewalk Vandalism

UA Area, Nov. 21, 2:12 p.m.

According to a UA Police Department report, someone spray-painted "fat bitches" on the sidewalk in front of a sorority house.

A 12-inch line was also painted on one of the front steps to the Delta Delta Delta sorority house, 1541 E. Second St.

A resident said she would try to remove the graffiti herself, after the UA grounds service told her they would not respond to a sorority house for property damage.

There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
