A Tucson man believes his car was stolen by a prostitute after they smoked crack and disagreed about the price of sex, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
The man told deputies that he had taken the woman back to his house after they had agreed that he would pay her $20 for sex. After smoking some crack at the house, the woman said it would cost $50, the report stated.
The man decided not to have sex with her and said he would drive the woman back to her house. While inside the car, the man realized he had left his wallet in the house.
When he got out of the car and ran into the house, the woman allegedly stole his vehicle.
The man didn't have any crack in his possession. He told deputies that the pipe they had been using belonged to the woman, and she took it with her when she left.
The man wants to press charges if the woman is found. She is about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 180 pounds.
Not-So-Neighborly Neighbor
East Bilby Road and South Country Club Road, Jan. 11, 5:38 p.m.
According to a PCSD report, deputies arrested a man for violating a court order after he allegedly grabbed his groin and yelled obscenities at his neighbor.
Deputies arrested Valentin A. Vega, 48, after his neighbor complained that he had violated a court order by spraying her trailer with water and by being verbally abusive.
Vega's neighbor said she got a court order against Vega because her family has had many problems with him. Deputies checked the paperwork and arrested Vega on suspicion of violating the order and for disorderly conduct. He was taken to Pima County Jail.
After the arrest, Vega's father called Deputy Rebecca Ryan, who refused to give him any information about the case, because Vega's father was not directly involved. Ryan said that it was public information and told Vega's father to request a copy of the citations at the courthouse.
Vega's father told Deputy Ryan that he thought the arrest was racially motivated.

University Area, Jan. 16, 6 p.m.
Police arrested a Tucson man after he allegedly lied to police about his identity, a University of Arizona Police Department report stated.
Witnesses told police that a car struck a pole near East Sixth Street and North Campbell Avenue; the vehicle then drove away.
Officer Dehmer followed a trail of liquid that lead into a nearby alley. Dehmer found three men in the alley who were standing near a car that had a flat tire and a damaged front end.
One of the men allegedly gave police a false name and address and told Officer Dehmer that the driver had gone into a nearby deli.
Dehmer ran a background check on the car's license plates and learned that the owner of the vehicle had a name that was very similar to what the man had said his name was.
When Dehmer confronted Jon Wittenwyler, 49, he allegedly admitted to lying to police about his name and address and said that he owned the car. Wittenwyler said he lied because he wanted to leave the scene and come back later to have the vehicle repaired, the report stated.
He was cited and released on suspicion of giving false information to a law enforcement official.
