Someone Took a Shotty to the Porta-Potty

Foothills Area March 9, 10:05 a.m.

An unknown individual with a shotgun apparently had a grudge against a portable bathroom unit (or maybe a person believed to be inside it), as evidenced by a multitude of pellet holes in its door, a PCSD report said.

Deputies received a call from near the intersection of North Silverbell and West Sunsetroads, where some porta-potties were set up for a company called Borderland Construction, which was preparing to do some work in the area. Company employees had come to the site that morning to find the outside of one unit punctured in numerous places by what appeared to be shotgun pellets.

At the time of the report, deputies were still awaiting an estimate of the damage; the workers could identify no suspects, nor any possible motives, for the porta-potty "shooting."
