Deputies responded to complaints about a pair of brothers fighting on a barroom floor, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
Authorities arrived at the M&M Saloon, 3364 E. Benson Highway, and separated the brothers. One of the men had a bloody mouth and was limping, although he said the limp was from a previous injury, a deputy noted.
"He said he was sitting in the bar when his brother, who accused him of fooling around with his girlfriend, came up to him and punched him in the back of the head," the report stated. He then got socked in the mouth.
The man said he grabbed his brother after he was hit and threw him on the ground, twice yelling, "Are we done now?" He said his brother replied that they were, in fact, done, and then asked him to get him a beer.
The apparent attacker, whom deputies described as intoxicated to the point of swaying, said the melee had been "a brother thing." He told a deputy his sibling had enjoyed some kind of "sexual relations" with his girlfriend of five years.
The girlfriend corroborated the first brother's story, and deputies arrested her boyfriend for assault. He also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Tucson City Court.

UA Area, May 21, 9:03 a.m.
According to a University of Arizona Police Department report, a former UA student shadowed a professor while demanding "respect."
The professor said he had several "confrontations" with the student, so he gave him a failing grade and assisted him in transferring to Arizona State University.
He said the student approached him in a hallway "and began demanding that (he) show respect towards him."
The professor alleged that he told the student to leave, but the student kept following him, all the while demanding respect. The student reportedly encouraged the professor to call the police when the professor threatened to do so, and then followed him down a flight of stairs.
The student scampered off once the professor actually started talking to a UAPD dispatcher.
No charges were filed.

UA Area, May 22, 2:37 p.m.
Police arrested a man with an aristocratic-sounding name, a UAPD report said.
An officer pulled over the vehicle driven by Trevor G. Cook, 22, because it had expired plates. Cook reportedly had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.
A records check on the vehicle's passenger showed that 22-year-old Sir Andre Washington had a warrant out for failure to appear on a drug offense. Sir Andre was booked into Pima County Jail.
