According to a Pima County Sheriff's Department report, deputies arrested a Tucson man after he was allegedly seen inside a restaurant and a day care center wearing only slip, pantyhose and a black bra.
Deputy Dwayn Gustafson pulled over a man after he noticed the man matched the suspect's description and was driving the same make and model of the car in which the suspect left.
When deputy Gustafson approached the car he noticed that the driver, Daniel Maynard, 29, was wearing a white slip, a black bra, pantyhose and high-heel shoes. Maynard said he went to the restaurant and day care center because he was looking for a bathroom, the report stated.
Police searched the car and found an open bottle of gin, some vomit on the floorboard and a steel-wool pad that police believe was used as a filter for a pipe used to smoke narcotics.
Maynard eventually told deputies that he drank alcohol and smoked cocaine the previous night.
When police asked him what time it was, he told them about 5 a.m. According to Deputy Gustafson, it was about 10 a.m.
Police arrested and released Maynard on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, having an open bottle of alcohol in a vehicle and speeding, the report stated.
Maynard's father picked him up and took him home, the report said.
Birdseed Bad Touch
South La Canada Drive and West Continental Road, Oct. 13, 3:12 p.m.
A man who was seen looking through a dumpster grabbed, hugged and kissed a Safeway employee against her will, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
The employee said she was throwing out some birdseed when the man asked if he could have it. When the employee let the man have the birdseed, he told her she was beautiful and began to hug her and kiss her.
She reportedly pushed him away and tried to run inside when the man grabbed her arm and tried to pull her back toward him. The employee was able to escape and run inside.
She did not call 911 the day of the incident because there were no supervisors on duty at the time, and she wanted to wait until they returned from business trips to notify police.
Deputies told the woman to call 911 immediately if she sees the man again.
Stolen Chicken Strip Poster
University Area, Oct. 22 12:45 a.m.
According to a University of Arizona Police Department report, a Wendy's employee saw a man run into the store and steal a 2-foot-tall by 2-foot-wide chicken strip poster.
The employee said she saw about eight men who all looked "like students" enter the store, 1005 N. Campbell Ave. After one of the men grabbed the sign, they all took off on foot heading west on East First Street.
The store manager said she would like to prosecute if any of the men are caught.
