PaperWorks: Book Artists at UA Special Collections

Four artist talks take place in conjunction with an exhibit about book art. Catherine Nash, who mixes paper, books and encaustic, talks at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12. Nancy Solomon, who makes digital photography books online or on paper, talks at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 12. Gene Riggs and Michael Rattee discuss their collaboration as artist and poet at 11 a.m., Sunday, March 13. Mary Ellen Palmeri, Nadia Hlibka and Alice Vinson discuss "The Challenge of Creating an Artist's Book" at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 13. The winner of the Special Collections Purchase Award is announced after this program. The artists' books exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13.
