Outdoor Family Day: Black Bears

When: Sat., Aug. 23, 9-11:30 a.m. 2014

Explore the natural history of black bears and cover the “what to do” if you encounter a black bear in nature. Examine a bear skull, pelt, and tracks to safely get up close to these large mammals. Complete a take-home bear craft. Families with children ages 5-12.
