Out in the Desert Film Festival

Out in the Desert: Tucson's International LGBT Film Festival continues Friday through Sunday, Feb. 24 through 26; $8 to $10 per film, $60 to $100 for passes. The festival includes 165 features, documentaries, shorts and musical films by or about LGBTQ-identified people. Screenings take place at the Screening Room, 127 E. Congress St.; Fluxx Studio and Gallery, 414 E. Ninth St.; and Grand Cinemas Crossroads, 4811 E. Grant Road. Friday, Feb. 24, features all-Arizona films and filmmakers, and an after-party at the Riverpark Inn, 350 S. Freeway Road. The festival's family film, The Muppets (1979), screens at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 25. A party takes place on closing night at the Riverpark Inn. Visit outinthedesertff.org for details.
