Organ Concert Honors Tucson Organ Builder
the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists hosts a free concert honoring the late David McDowell at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18. McDowell build and installed more that 60 pipe organis for 40 Tucsion Churches. Following the concert is a potluck dessert and a screening of the film Pulling Out All the Stops, which describes the history, development, manufacture and use of pipe organs worldwide.
