The locally owned Risky Business Restaurant and Bar at Sunrise Drive and Kolb Road is turning 10 years old on Nov. 12. Open: Eastside Frost
Last week, Frost opened its second location at 7301 E. Tanque Verde Road, across from Udall Park. Frost employees--the first location is at Ina and Oracle roads--reportedly got five to seven requests a day for an eastside location; 886-0354.
Closed: Micha's Restaurant on Prince
Micha's second location on Prince Road has closed, and the building is for sale. One has to wonder why. A fellow food professional thinks that the original locations like Micha's, El Charro Café and other venues have a history and lore all their own. When they try to duplicate, it fails, because the tradition and charm is missing.
