Late Night Pizza

Oregano's Pizza Bistro is staying open later during the summer, according to a press release. If you feel like a Chicago-style pizza, or perhaps a huge salad or a baked sandwich, Oregano's is open until 10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays, and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Oregano's is located at 4900 E. Speedway Blvd.; 327-8955. Read/listen to oreganos.com.

Lien on Pizza

A sign posted on the door of LaFerlita's Pizza Café, dated May 22, states that the rent is overdue, and if the tenant does not pay the rent in 60 days, the property inside will be seized. LaFerlita's is (was?) located in Sam Hughes Place at 446 N. Campbell Ave., No. 100.

Open All Day

I dislike it when restaurants serve lunch only during certain hours. Sometimes at 3 p.m., I feel like a late lunch or a snack. Montana Avenue is now open from 11 a.m. serving menu items at a variety of price points throughout the day at 6390 E. Grant Road; 298-2020. Check out the menu online.

Paradise Found

Paradise Bakery and Café (PB&C) plans to open a second Tucson location at Main Gate Square on University Boulevard in October 2007. The first location is in Casas Adobes Plaza, 7109 N. Oracle Road; 219-5003. In 1974, PB&C was founded by a group of guys who began selling cookies from a storefront on the Long Beach, Calif., marina. Today, the fast-casual chain operates 47 stores in 10 states and is set to embark on a growth streak that will nearly double the size of the company in the next 18 months. Nine stores will be added to the Phoenix area.

Zona 78 II

A second Zona 78 is slated to open late this year at 7301 E. Tanque Verde Road, in a new building called Tanque Verde Place, across from Udall Park.

Schweppes Bitter Lemon

A Noshing reader returned from vacation in a Baltic country and wants to know if any local stores sell Schweppes bitter lemon soda. Her search has so far been unsuccessful.
