Colors Food and Spirits

Just opened, Colors is GLBT-owned by Ricardo Lujan and John Lochart. The restaurant caters to all who seek outstanding local art along with a full menu and bar in a nonsmoking space. Happy Anniversary

Congratulations to Something Sweet Dessert Lounge, the late-night cyber dessert cafe, which recently celebrated a first anniversary at 5319 E. Speedway Blvd. Try the yummy low-carb cheesecake.

Already in 13 states, Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pasta opens Friday, Aug. 20, at 4726 E. Broadway Blvd. The value-driven, fast-food franchise serves 16-inch subs with sliced-to-order meats and cheeses, pasta with red or Alfredo sauce and multi-grain Carb Cents bread for diners on low-carb diets. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Be sure to say hello to the local owners, Mike and Colleen O'Toole.

Primavera Cooks The Grill

The Primavera Foundation continues its summer fund-raiser on Sept. 1 at The Grill at Hacienda del Sol. According to Chef Jason Jonilonis, the menu will celebrate the Southwest's bounty paired with appropriate wines as five apprentice chefs merge their talents with the professional culinary team.
