New: Shlomo and Vito's New York Delicatessen

For everyone who has been craving a deli: It has arrived in the foothills, at Plaza Colonial, across the street from La Encantada. I dropped by a few days after they opened and peeked inside to look at the menu--and there was already a wait during lunch. New: Sushi Garden North

The popular Sushi Garden recently opened a second location in the Foothills Mall at 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd., Suite 312; 877-8744. J Nippon was formerly at that address.


New: Tatsu Sushi

Tatsu Sushi recently opened in the space formerly known as Bowz Sushi at 7332 N. Oracle Road; 219-6989. It is owned by Golden Dragon restaurants.


Top 100 Chinese Restaurants

Dragon Village was recently named one of the Top 100 Chinese restaurants in the United States.
