New: El Saage

A reader has already raved about El Saage, a new Lebanese delicatessen in the former Arizona Chicken Café space at 1800 E. Fort Lowell Road, Suite 168; 319-5554.

$10 Holiday Wine Tasting

Breaking from their short tradition of six tastings of wine for $10, CataVinos will pour tastes of eight wines--all costing $10 or less per bottle--on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23 and 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. The tasting costs $10, or $8 if you buy a bottle of wine to go. This intimate midtown boite is quickly becoming a popular place for wine aficionados; located at 3063 N. Alvernon Way; 323-3063.

Village Inn

The Village Inn, a nationwide franchise, is partnering with famous culinary travel destinations to bring customers award-winning recipes at affordable prices. Since November is French toast month, the Village Inn is offering blueberry-stuffed French toast and apple-stuffed French toast, featured at the historic Maples Inn in Maine, which has been featured in Gourmet and National Geographic Traveler magazines. Check out the Village Inn Web site to find the nearest of the four Tucson-area locations.

Breakfast at Ghini's

If you're like me, the weekends are for sleeping in, and you don't want any restrictions on when breakfast is served. Ghini's French Caffe is now serving weekend breakfast all day, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays, at 1803 E. Prince Road; 326-9095. Try the garlicky eggs Provencal with a baguette--yum.

In-N-Out in Marana

The second Tucson In-N-Out Burger location opened last week at Arizona Pavilions, near Interstate 10 and Cortaro Road.
