On Saturday, Sept. 16, Sprouts Farmers Market in Oro Valley hosts a "Back to School Is Cool" kids' health day to educate families about their children's well-being. The store will offer food samples, healthy food tips, a raffle and more fun activities for kids, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sprouts is located at 7665 N. Oracle Road; 297-5446.
UNO Nutrition
There must be something in the Oro Valley air, nutrition-wise, because UNO Chicago Grill hosts nutrition days on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15 and 16, at their 10180 N. Oracle Road location. Corporate nutritionist Adam Sachs will be present to answer questions and introduce the restaurant's new nutrition kiosk. More than 150 food-festival posters will be suspended from the ceiling, and healthy snacks will be served. Children in grades first through fifth can use their favorite popcorn ball recipe to enter the popcorn sculpture contest and win prizes for their classroom. Call UNO for details at 878-0222.

Limited-Edition Wine Experience
This year, the Tucson Culinary Festival will be held Friday through Sunday, Oct. 6-8, at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
