What was the first concert you attended?

Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. They had a big hit called "Wooly Bully" in 1965.

What are you listing to these days?

I'm not listing to much these days. I'm so fed up with the music now that I enjoy the silence. If I do listen to anything, I like listing to the new hard rockers.

What was the first album you owned?

Surfin' USA by the Beach Boys in 1963. I was living in Hawthorne, California and literally lived two streets over from where the Beach Boys grew up.

What artist, genre, or musical trend that everyone seems to love, but you just don't get into?

Nashville country. I just can't stand it. I like old country, like Willie Nelson. I like the old outlaw country music.

What musical act, current or defunct would you most like to see perform live?

I missed the Beatles. I got to see everybody else, but never the Beatles.

Musically speaking what is your favorite guilty pleasure?

I like Loreena McKennitt; she's a Scottish Canadian artist. She plays Irish/Scottish old school kind of music.

What song would you like to have played at your funeral?

"Remember," by Josh Groban. If you see the movie Troy with Brad Pitt, "Remember" is the theme song throughout. After that's over, I'd like to have "Happy Trails," by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

What band or artist has changed your life and how?

The Beatles when I saw them on Ed Sullivan. I thought that is what I want to do. I thought these guys were rowdy. Then I saw the Rolling Stones and they were even more rowdy than the Beatles, so I said to heck with the Beatles, I want to be a Rolling Stone.

Figurative gun to your head, what is your favorite album of all time?

Back in Black by AC/DC. I can play that all day long, over and over.
