What was the first concert you ever saw?

Metallica at the Tucson Convention Center in '92, on my birthday. I was only 12; it changed my life.

What CDs are in your changer right now?

Meshuggah, Imogen Heap, Nirvana, Portishead and Busdriver.

How many total albums do you own (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks)?

More than 3,000 CDs.

Do you download music, and if so, legally or illegally?

No, I don't download music. I'm old-school. I love to see the CD art, and I buy the CDs I want.

What was the first album you owned?

Alice Cooper, Constrictor. I was 6 years old with a tape player. I guess I was dancing to it and everything.

What song would you like to have played at your funeral?

Nine Inch Nails, "Hurt," and "Aurora Borealis," by SWF.

Musically speaking, what do you love that your friends don't know about? What's your favorite guilty pleasure?

Nirvana; they really spoke to me. Kurt Cobain's suicide was a real gut-grinder.

Figurative gun to your head, what is your favorite album of all time?
