Just in case Isaac Reyes needs an introduction, here it is: He's the primary songwriter, vocalist and guitarist for Tucson punk rockers Shark Pants and for Lenguas Largas, who defy description. Reyes also plays guitar and sings harmony in the Resonars, who recently came home from a rapturously received European tour. You can see both Lenguas Largas and the Resonars perform at the new all-ages venue, 191 Toole, on Saturday, Jan. 11. The free show features nine additional bands and starts at 4 p.m.

Expose at the Del Mar Fair in the early '90s.
What are you listening to these days?
My girlfriend's been jamming the new M.I.A. record at home. I've been stuck on the reissue of Tronics' Love Backed By Force for the past year, I guess. I can't get it out of my brain.
What was the first album you owned?
Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction.
What artist, genre or musical trend does everyone seem to love, but you just don't get?
Some electronic music makes me feel physically ill when it's being played on big sound systems. It's sonic weaponry invading my internal organs.
What musical act, current or defunct, would you most like to see perform live?
The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Late '80s and early '90s pop, R&B and hip-hop.
What song would you like to have played at your funeral?
My funeral mix would surely include a mostly instrumental version of "Walk On By" by Burt Bacharach from the album Burt Bacharach Plays His Hits.
What band or artist changed your life, and how?
The Gories' House Rockin', the Stooges' Fun House and Wire's Pink Flag are records that showed me how wonderful, diverse and inspiring punk rock is and forever will be. Amen.
