Re: “Mailbag

I am so proud of my grandchildren, there are ten, and my great grandchildren,6. I am 6th generation of the founding family of Los Angeles before it was taken by the United States. The Sepulvida family had all the land from Santa Monica to usc. From San Vicente to downtown Train station. I was involved in the Chicano Movement in Los Angeles and ran for the board of education under La Raza Unida and fought for parents rights so we can have equal education for all. Not just one segment of society. I was raised in the 40's and was a product of an education offered minority students with no way to go on to higher education. I will fight until my last breath to bring education to our little hispanic 's and equal rights in their time and future in their country. HERE. You know rednecks call us wetbacks even though the deepest part of the Rio Grande can be walked. Wasn't us that came across an ocean to find a land already occupied.
