Iceland is pretty, but 17-year-old Noi
doesn’t like it, so he has
well-photographed dreams of escaping
with Iris, who works at the gas station.
Weird, thoughtful cinematography and
staging make this worth looking at,
especially if you want to see someone
shoot icicles with a shotgun or dig a
grave in a snowstorm.
