Re: “Shaun McClusky, Big Spender!

Thanks to Jim Click and his "friends" and "co-workers," Sean got the moolah but spent it badly. There was an additional $7,000 in robo calls by the Summit Group. Jim, you need to review and report all of this.

Re: “Robocall of Duty

How can two people be so concerned about issues now when they didn't even bother to vote in the past in city elections, for the RTA proposal, the half cent sales tax and numerous other elections?

Also how many excuses is this for the go-getter McClusky for not voting? Diversity in reasoning for not participating in the democratic process as many of his fellow servicemembers died for, protecting the rights of citizens to do as such!

How can simply cutting the funding for community service agencies, $12 million go towards covering $50 million? Sounds like the same kind of math the Arizona Legislature, led by the Republicans, are using and look at them, no budget and no clue!

Re: “The Party's Over?

Following up, who did all this at the Arizona Legislature?

The Republicans, so if these people in charge are not appealing to a fringe element, who is?

Perhaps a charter review for the City of Tucson as well as a state constitutional convention maybe in order.

Re: “The Party's Over?

So what was Fred Ronstadt, Roy Laos, Lew Murphy, Kathleen Dunbar and Bob Walkup then, chopped liver?

Also, Paton's comment in the morning fishwrap about appealing to a fringe element, what does horse tipping, fireworks, religion in public schools, declaring the earth 6,000 years old, guns in bars, guns in parked cars, too numerous to count measures dealing with abortion while still in session, special regular or otherwise with no budget, no solution for the state's economic plight count as?

Re: “The Skinny

Per the Arizona Republic today, the GOP Leadership in the Arizona Legislature saves their budget while screwing the state. ...

Kromko defending taxpayers while they foot his bill, for his defense in his trial on allegedly forging signatures of petition signers and circulators. ....

Sean and Judith want to serve on the Tucson City Council but don't vote, pay attention, confusion because of "age" or don't know what side to take or about leadership? ...

Regarding the public safety initiative, how is this going to be funded? Outside agencies, that get $13 million from the City, where will the other $30 or so mil come from (for the other officers, support staff, supplies/machinery) etcetera?
